Lawn Bowls
Lawn Bowls is played on a lawn of 6 to 8 Rinks and each Rink is 20ft wide and by 120ft long.
A mat is placed 2meters from where the sand is,and it is played by the first player rolling the white or yellow ball (jack), once the Jack is rolled it is then centered in the middle of the Rink atleast 2 meters from the ditch.
Players have 2 boules with 2 deferent ring size on them 1 large and 1 small ring.
There are generally 2 types of shot in the game 1st is a Draw shot that Draws slowly towards the jack, the 2nd is a Run shot that runs faster and tries to break up the head.
If a boules goes into the ditch it is out of play unless it first touches the jack then in that case they are both still in play and both are marked for the players to see.
The whole object of the game is to get close to the jack, the closest you get to the jack the more point you get scorring can be the total number of points scored or total number of end that you played up and back.
