<p>In addition to the sun image of OCA’s emblem, the emblem for the 6th Asia Beach Games overlays blue, green, yellow and orange color-blocks into the number "6" and makes up the image of coconut tree, an athlete and a deer( symbol of Sanya City), implying the artistic conception of ocean, beach, sport, green leaves and Luhuitou’s legend( A famous scenic spot in Sanya).</p>
<p>The visual image not only reflects the beautiful legend of Sanya, but also the symbol of local natural environment. It is a humanistic visual symbol with high recognition and preference of local people and highlights the city image, spirit and cultural history of Sanya.</p>
<p>Blue stands for ocean and dream, yellow and orange stand for sunshine, beach, joy and enthusiasm, the jumping sport figure stands for optimism, bravery, passion and vitality. The combination of bright and transparent colors and flexible shapes reflects that the 2020 Asian Beach Games( Sanya) will be a happy, environmental-friendly and charming event.</p>

<p style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 10px;">The mascot for the Sixth Asian Beach Games 2020 (“ABG 2020”), which is a lively Eld's deer called Yaya, was officially unveiled on November 28, 2019.</p>
<p style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 10px;">The design concept of the mascot was inspired by the close bond between Hainan and the Eld's deer, which was an indigenous animal reputed as “Elves of Hainan Island” and a Class I Key Protected Species in China.</p>
<p style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 10px;">See! Yaya raises its left thumb up, exhibiting the absolute confidence of the host city in staging a "trendy, green, fantastic and magnificent" Asian Beach Games.</p>

<p>Sharing a Moon Bright Even When Miles Apart</p>
<p>The sea mirrors the rising moon bright; miles apart, our hearts share tonight.</p>
<p>The design concept is inspired by a renowned ancient Chinese verse — “The sea mirrors the rising moon bright; miles apart, our hearts share tonight”. The integral design consists of two parts. The upper part is in the shape of a circle, symbolising the radiance of sun and moon both rising from the sea, and includes the emblem of the Games and Tianya stones embodying Sanya’s historical and regional culture. The surrounding curves on the lower part symbolise Sanya’s distinctive natural landscapes — ocean droplets, ocean waves and sand beaches. The side of the medal is engraved with the phrase “Welcome to Sanya”. Inspired by the concept of “sharing a moon bright even when miles apart”, the integral design blends Sanya’s historical and cultural heritage with its natural landscape, implying that we welcome you to Sanya at this very moment, also at each and every moment.</p>
