Kuwait City, Kuwait, August 30, 2026: The Olympic Council of Asia has announced that Uzbek athlete Doston Rajabov has been disqualified from the 6th Asian Beach Games Sanya 2026 following an Anti-Doping Rule Violation. Results management for the case was delegated by the OCA to the International Testing Agency.
An in-competition-testing urine sample collected on April 26, 2026 following the Men's Shot Put in the Beach Athletics competition returned an Adverse Analytical Finding for (i) dehydrochloromethyltestosterone (DHCMT) and Drostanolone metabolites (classified under Class S1.1 Anabolic Androgenic Steroids) and (ii) Octodrine (classified under Class S6.B Specified Stimulants) of the World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List.
The athlete did not challenge the finding, waived the right to the B Sample analysis and accepted the consequences under the OCA Anti-Doping Rules.
Accordingly, all competitive results obtained by the athlete at the 6th Asian Beach Games, including his fourth-place finish in the Men's Shot Put on April 26, 2026, are disqualified, with all resulting consequences, including the forfeiture of points, prizes and the readjustment of results, where applicable.
The ITA will now refer the case to World Athletics for any further action within its jurisdiction.
The OCA remains committed to protecting clean sport and promoting fair competition in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code.
