Sanya, China, April 30, 2026: H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Olympic Council of Asia, met with Ryu Seung-min, President of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, on the sidelines of the 6th Asian Beach Games in Sanya.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the OCA and the KSOC, reinforcing a shared vision for advancing sport across Asia.
A key highlight was the KSOC’s request to host the OCA General Assembly in 2028, reflecting growing cooperation and future partnership between both sides.
The next OCA General Assembly will be in Doha, Qatar, on January 27, 2027.
