Surfing

Surfing is a water sport in which the participant has to ride a surfboard on the crest of along the tunnel of a breaking wave.

Two major subdivisions of stand-up surfing are longboarding and shortboarding, the difference is in the distance and boards.

Surfing was incorporated into the Asian Beach Games in 2008.
