The 2AIG Official Mascot "Mei Mei" has been inspired by a black-faced spoonbill, from northeast Asia that migrate to Macao every autumn. "Mei Mei" flies high into the sky, symbolizing that Macao opens new paths with its endlessly innovative spirit.

She also represents the youthful, boundless, soaring spirit of the Asian Indoor Games and inspires Macao citizens to participate in the Games.
