Taipei, July 23, 2020: The Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee held a very popular “Sports Celebrity Meet-up Session” on July 21 during the 2020 Sports Industry Expo in Taipei.
The CTOC invited three elite athletes - world women's boxing champion Chen Nien-Chin, Winter Olympian and CMP Group Chairman Lin Ting-Fang and former BMX extreme cyclist and the current manager of Decathlon Sports Goods, Yo Jia-Yu - to talk about how sport changed their life.
The 2020 Taiwan Sports Industry Expo is being held in Taipei Songshan Cultural and Creative Park from July 17 to August 9 and the CTOC is using the event as part of their Olympic Day celebrations.
The “meet-up session” allows the public to ask questions freely and have close interaction with the athletes to learn of their exciting and inspirational journeys. It also helped build enthusiasm and support for Team Chinese Taipei at the Tokyo Olympic Games next year.
