Amman, Jordan, July 19, 2020: The Jordan Olympic Committee has reported the sad loss of a member of the JOC Board, Dr. Moeen Al-Faouri.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, the JOC, led by the President, HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, mourned Dr. Moeen Al-Faouri, who was President of the Jordan Karate Federation.
“May the Almighty bless him with his mercy and inspire his relatives’ patience and solace. We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return,” said the JOC post.
The Facebook account of Karate Around the World – a public group with over 33,000 members – said: “The family of the Karate Around the World group mourns, with grief and sorrow for all the athletes and for the Jordanian Federation, the death of the late Dr. Moeen Al-Faouri, President of the Jordanian Federation. Sincerely pray for mercy and forgiveness.”
