CTOC organises workshop for national sports federations

Taipei, July 18, 2020: The Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee organised the 2020 Workshop for Leaders of National Sports Federations in Taipei on July 14-15.

The objective of the workshop was to provide a platform for sports leaders to exchange ideas on their conduct of international sports affairs and good governance.

CTOC Secretary General Mrs. Frances Yuh-Fang Wang Lee and Ms. Hsiu-Ling Hsu, Director of International and Cross-Straits Affairs of the Sports Administration, officiated the opening ceremony.

Secretary General Lee said the workshop provided an opportunity for National Federation decision-makers and sports policy-makers to come together to share views and explore issues concerning international sports development and the practices of good governance.

The workshop invited speakers experienced in international sports affairs, such as Mr. Kevin Kuo-I Chen, OCA EB Member and CTOC Advisor, and Ms. Fen-Fen Chang, International Children’s Games EB member, as well as attorney Mr. Wei-Sheng Hung, who specialise in international sports law.

A total of 60 sports leaders attended this workshop.
