Thimphu, Bhutan, July 16, 2020: Bhutan’s Korean archery coach, Sally Park Young-Sook, is showing her philanthropic nature in other sports, too.
On Thursday, the Bhutan Olympic Committee reported that coach Park donated 18 sets of boxing attire worth USD 90 each to the Bhutan Boxing Federation. The donated items will be used by the junior and senior boxers.
“The Bhutan Olympic Committee, on behalf of the Bhutan Boxing Federation, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to coach Park for her kind gesture,” the BOC said in a Facebook post.
Earlier, Los Angeles 1984 Olympian Park donated Nu. 200,000 (USD 2,600) to the PM's office to assist in the fight against COVID-19 in Bhutan.
