Kabul, Afghanistan, July 13, 2020: The hierarchy of the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee met with the ambassador of Qatar in Kabul last Friday, June 10, to discuss cooperation between the two countries on the sports field.
The Afghanistan NOC President, Dr. Hafizollah Wali Rahimi, senior adviser to the President and member of the Olympic Council of Asia Executive Board Ajmal Ghani and NOC Secretary-General Dr. Mohammed Youunes Populzi met with Qatari ambassador, Saeed Mubarak Al-Khayarin Al-Hajri.
The two parties discussed ways to strengthen Afghanistan NOC’s relations with its Qatari counterpart as well as measures to improve bilateral cooperation and gaining Qatar NOC’s support for the development of sport in Afghanistan.
