Dushanbe, Tajikistan, July 9, 2020: The National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan conducted an Olympic Solidarity Technical Course for judo coaches in Dushanbe from July 1-8.
The technical course, which was run by international expert Ramzi Shamirov, was attended by 20 coaches from all regions of the country. The eight-day course touched on the rules and techniques of judo with both theory and practical classes carried out.
“Such training is carried out on the instructions of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic and President of the National Olympic Committee, Emomali Rahmon, who expressed it at the 17th session of the General Assembly. Such courses are planned for other sports as well in the future,” said Abdullozoda Muhammadsho, Secretary General of Tajikistan NOC.
Course instructor Shamirov commented: “For eight days we have discussed with the participants of the course the rules and methods of judo - which are reviewed almost every year – in both theory and practice.”
All participants were awarded certificates by the International Olympic Committee.
