Kathmandu, Nepal, July 8, 2020: As well as the tree-planting celebrations of the Nepal Olympic Committee on Olympic Day last month, the National Olympic Academy of Nepal was also busy with activities.
Due to the COVID -19 pandemic, NOA Nepal organised a virtual celebration of Olympic Day 2020 through the Arts and Crafts Workshop in coordination with the NK Singh Memorial School.
The target group of the workshop was children in the school aged from 10-12. Fifty children participated in the workshop.
All the participants were given a task to make a medal from a hard cover paper. The Chairman of NOA Nepal, Mr. Dhruba Bahdur Pradhan, welcomed the participants and expressed sincere gratitude to be a part of the Olympic Day 2020. All the participants received e-certificates of the Olympic Day 2020.
