New Delhi, India, July 5, 2020: The Indian Olympic Association has thanked Indian journalists for the “impeccable work of bringing the world of sports closer to all” on World Sports Journalist Day on July 2.
In a Thank You message written on TeamIndia Facebook page, the Indian Olympic Association posted a letter designed as a news page called ‘Thankyou Post’.
In it, the IOA stated: “You cover the length and breadth of sports fields, the inside out of sports. You bring our favourite athletes closer to us, as we relive their inspiring journeys through your words. It is the visuals you capture that become proud memories of our most loved athletes.
“It is due to you that millions of fans receive information and form opinions about the teams and players of each sport they support. We live and view our dream through your voice.
“Thank you for your impeccable work of bringing the world of sports closer to all.”
