Dhaka, Bangladesh, June 22, 2020: The Bangladesh Olympic Association, in partnership with the National Olympic Academy of Bangladesh, will be observing this year’s Olympic Day in a different way due to COVID-19.
“On this Olympic Day, NOC Bangladesh will distribute a special Notebook among the stakeholders. We have printed a good number of unique Notebooks containing pictorial information about the International Olympic Committee (IOC), International Olympic Academy (IOA), Olympic Movement and NOC Bangladesh,” said Brigadier General Fakhruddin Haider (Retd), the Director General.
“Steps have already been taken to distribute 4,000 Notebooks among selected secondary schools in and outside the capital city Dhaka, National Federations, Divisional Sports Associations and Service Sports Control Boards.”
Pictures of distribution will be posted after lockdown is lifted by the Government. The cover page of the Notebook is attached.
