Doha, Qatar, June 19, 2020: The Qatar Olympic Committee has published the second edition of its official magazine, Sport For Life. The magazine can be downloaded from the QOC website www.olympic.qa.
The magazine is packed with news, reports and photographs, highlighting not only the many and varied activities of the QOC but also the award-winning performances of its athletes and Qatar’s ability to host world-class events in a variety of sports.
Under the leadership of the QOC President, HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, the QOC is thriving and delivering the Olympic ideals to all sections of the country. This was in evidence when over 4,000 people joined the 3rd Team Qatar Flag Relay last December.
The contents also include the QOC Sports Excellence Awards, National Sports Day celebrations, Qatar’s 34-medal haul at the GCC Women’s Games, the 13th Schools Olympic Programme and an interview with Qatar’s first female Olympic athlete, Bahia Al Hamad.
