Asian Boxing Confederation produces annual report for 2019

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, June 18, 2020: The Asian Boxing Confederation has published its annual report for 2019 and shared it with the affiliated National Federations. 

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and Vice President of the International Boxing Association (AIBA), Anas Alotaiba of the United Arab Emirates, introduces the 80-page report, which was approved at an online Virtual Executive Committee meeting in May.

The report contains information about the governance of the Asian Boxing Confederation, the affiliated ASBC National Federations, the General Assembly, ASBC Commissions and ASBC staff members.

The report also includes details of all five ASBC Asian Boxing Championships held in 2019 – Asian Elite in Bangkok,  Asian Schoolboys in Kuwait City, Asian Junior in Fujairah, Asian Youth in Ulaanbaatar and  Asian Grand Slam in China.

The Best of the Asians section was launched in 2012 and remains an important part of the annual report. The financial activities, 2019 highlights, budget, statements and forecasts close the 2019 ASBC annual report.

The Asian Boxing Confederation is planning to host events in the latter part of the year depending on the Covid-19 situation. The final decision will be made in August.
