Pyongyang, DPR Korea, June 15, 2020: DPR Korea has a new sports stadium to host a variety of sports, reports the Korean Central News Agency from the capital Pyongyang.
The new venue is named the Phyongsong Indoor Stadium and it has been newly built in South Phyongan Province.
The stadium has 1,200 seats and a total floor space of over 10,000sqm, making it ideal for showcasing a wide variety of sports such as futsal, basketball, volleyball, tennis and table tennis.
The province designed the stadium in a unique way and completed its construction in a short period of time by tapping locally available materials.
