Amman, Jordan, October 27, 2026: The Jordan Olympic Committee successfully concluded a four-day Community Sports Leaders Course in the Southern Region on Saturday, October 24.
The course was attended by 29 participants and was aimed to empower and support community sports initiatives and enhance the participants’ ability to create and implement sports initiatives in their local communities, thereby contributing to the growth of sport.
The training programme included theoretical sessions and practical activities that addressed Olympic values, sports safety.and the design of community sports initiatives.
In addition, a dialogue session entitled "Community Sports: From Initiative to Sustainability" was held. This session included group presentations on preparing to implement initiatives.
