Manila, Philippines, October 20, 2026: The Philippine Olympic Committee is determined to station their country at the forefront of the Olympic Movement in Asia by applying to host several high-profile OCA events.

In a social media post entitled “Receipts over rumors!”, the POC lists the OCA multi-sport games it has applied to stage over the next few years.

“Before claiming the Philippines never files bids for major sporting events, most especially the Asian Games, check the facts,” the POC states.

“The POC is actively working to bring international sports home—locking in official bids for the 2038 Asian Games, 2030 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games and 2029 Asian Esports and Mind Sports Games.”

The Philippines is already the confirmed host of the 1st Southeast Asian Plus Youth Games in 2027 and the Asian Beach Games 2028 in Cebu.

The POC adds that the following three bids have been submitted for:

*2029 Asian Esports and Mind Sports Games, following the inaugural edition in Kuwait in 2027

*2030 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games

*2038 Asian Games
