Doha, Qatar, October 19, 2026: HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Olympic Council of Asia and President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, attended the 24th General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees of the Caribbean (CANOC) in Curacao on October 18.
Sheikh Joaan’s participation comes within the framework of strengthening relations between the OCA and CANOC and expanding the prospects of partnership between the two sides in order to support the development of the Olympic movement in the two regions.
OCA Director General Husain Al Musallam also attended the General Assembly.
This participation reflects the shared commitment to exchanging experiences and strengthening solidarity among the National Olympic Committees of Asia and the Caribbean.
