Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, October 11, 2026: The Olympic Council of Malaysia Education and Training Committee, in collaboration with the OCM East Malaysia Committee and Sarawak Sports Corporation, coordinated the three-day Sport Administrators Course No. 4 (2026), specially designed for sport administrators of Sarawak.
The course was held from October 7-9 at the Borneo Cultures Museum, Kuching, Sarawak, and was conducted by two accredited National Course Directors: Mr. Peter Chee Nyuk Min and Mr. Fong Wan Hor, assisted by a team of facilitators comprising Ms. Moira Tan Siew See, Ms. Kalaivalli R. Ratnam, Mr. Chong Choong Seong and Mr. Ahmad Badrulhisham Che Kassim.
The course was attended by 33 sport administrators representing 23 sports: Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Boules Sports, Boxing, Esports, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Judo, Kabbadi, Lawn Tennis, Muaythai, Rugby, Shooting, Softball, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tenpin Bowling, Weightlifting and Wushu, as well as the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Sarawak, Sarawak Sports Corporation and Universiti Teknologi MARA Sarawak branch.
The course began with a briefing and an introduction to the principles, structure and leadership of the Olympic Movement by Ms. Moira Tan Siew See, Assistant Secretary General of OCM and Chairperson of the OCM Education and Training Committee.
The opening ceremony was officiated by Mr. Mu’azamir Jili, Chief Executive Officer of the Sarawak Sports Corporation, on Wednesday, October 7.
The closing ceremony was officiated by YB Azizul Annuar Adenan, Vice President of OCM and Chairperson of the OCM East Malaysia Committee, on Friday, October 9. He then presented the certificates to the sport administrators.
