Asian Esports Charity Cup to be decided June 11

Hong Kong, China, June 10, 2020: Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia will contest the semi-finals of the Asian Electronic Sports Federation’s Charity Cup on Thursday, June 11.

Thailand will take on Singapore in the first semi-final at 2pm and Malaysia will play Indonesia in the second semi-final at 4pm. The final is set for 7.30pm. The matches will be played on a best-of-three format, like the quarter-finals held on June 4.

The competition is being played in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang category as part of the AESF’s “Your Home, Your Arena” campaign which aims to unite the Esports community in the safety of their own home while providing assistance to vulnerable communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Charity Cup invitational tournament and Charity Fundraising are the two main initiatives of the Your Home, Your Arena campaign.

Laos, Cambodia, Philippines and Brunei were all defeated 2-0 in the quarter-finals on June 4.
