Nagoya, Japan, September 25, 2026: Ziyoviddin Khodjiniyazov, Acting President of the International Kurash Association, IKA General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri, IKA Presidential Advisor Umid Yakubov, IKA Sports Director Bae Hyeong-sik and ITO representative Koroush Khosrouyar held a meeting with the organisers at the arena in Aichi-Nagoya where the kurash competitions will be held.
The discussions covered the technical meeting and draw, TV camera positions and media services, as well as other organisational and technical matters.
The officials also reviewed the arrangements for the inspection rooms and all remaining aspects related to ensuring the kurash competitions are conducted at a high standard.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants emphasised that work will continue to coordinate the final preparations and ensure the implementation of all assigned tasks.
Kurash will run from September 27-29 at the Aichi Prefectural Martial Arts Hall and is part of Combat Sports.
