H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Olympic Council of Asia, visited Korea House, held on the sidelines of the 20th Asian Games Aichi–Nagoya 2026.
His Excellency was welcomed by H.E. Ryu Seung-min, President of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee.
During the visit, H.E. Sheikh Joaan toured the sections of Korea House and explored displays highlighting the Republic of Korea’s history, sporting legacy and most notable achievements, alongside various aspects of its culture and national identity. The experience brings sport and culture together while showcasing Korea’s journey and contributions to the Olympic Movement in Asia.
The visit reflects His Excellency’s commitment to engaging with the various activities held alongside the Games and strengthening sporting and cultural exchange among Asian nations.
