Dhaka, Bangladesh, August 23, 2026: The Bangladesh Olympic Association has successfully held a four-day Sports Administrators Course under the auspices of Olympic Solidarity.
A total of 29 trainers and officials from various bodies, including the National Sports Council and national sports federations, participated in the August 19-22 course.
Among the topics discussed were Olympism and the Olympic Movement, skills development and the responsibilities of all parties.
The course was conducted by the National Course Directors of the Bangladesh Olympic Association: Mahfuzur Rahman Siddiqui, Mosharraf Hossain Molla, Farukul Islam, Kazi Mainuzzaman and Brigadier General (retd.) Shafaul Kabir, BOA Director General. The guest speaker was Dr. Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman.
Barrister Sarwat Siraj, Vice President of BOA, who was the Chief Guest at the Closing Ceremony on Saturday, August 22, urged all participants to utilise the knowledge gained to improve their respective fields and help accelerate the Olympic movement.
All participants received certificates from the BOA Vice President.
