AINAGOC to open street corner ticket sales booth for in-person business

Nagoya, Japan, August 19, 2026: Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organising Committee AINAGOC announced a series of ticket promotions on the occasion of 30 days to go to the opening ceremony on September 19.

These include the opening of a street corner ticket sales booth where people can buy tickets with cash or credit cards, assisted by well-trained staff, as opposed to buying tickets online with an ID registration.

The street corner ticket sales booth will be open from Thursday, August 20 to Sunday, September 6, giving members of the public over two weeks to buy their tickets in person.

Opening hours are 10.15am to 8.0pm and the ticket booth is located Inside Oasis 21 i-Center (Nagoya City Tourist Information Center).

*AINAGOC also announced that an additional ticket sale would start for selected events from 5.0pm on Wednesday, August 19.

“This includes popular sessions that were previously marked as ‘Sold Out’, and all sessions are included,” AINAGOC said.

The target for sales is: Opening Ceremony/Closing Ceremony, Athletics, Shooting, Table Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball and Artistic Swimming.

*AINAGOC is also introducing an “After 4” ticket promotion, enabling people to buy tickets to watch the action after 4pm.

“A discounted time-specific ticket that allows entry from 4.0pm onwards — the ‘After 4 Ticket’ is now on sale. Perfect for watching after work or from the early evening,” AINAGOC said.

The ticket will be valid 1 hour 30 minutes before the scheduled end time of each session. There are 11 eligible events for the After 4 Ticket.
