AINAGOC appoints bilingual MC Ayumi Sakamoto as spokesperson for 20th Asian Games

Nagoya, Japan, August 19, 2026: The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organising Committee (AINAGOC) has appointed Nagoya-based bilingual MC Ayumi Sakamoto as spokesperson.

 

AINAGOC announced the news on August 19 – one month before the opening ceremony of the 20th Asian Games in Nagoya on September 19.

 

“We have appointed Ayumi Sakamoto as our spokesperson to share information about the Asian Games with domestic and international media through channels such as the daily briefing for news organizations,” AINAGOC said in a social media post.

 

“She will work with the relevant departments to respond to inquiries and interviews from domestic and international news organizations, playing a role in connecting the organizing committee with the media.”

 

Ayumi is a Japanese event host, bilingual ‘Emcee’, voiceover talent and stadium announcer based in Nagoya, known for her professionalism, adaptability and warm personal touch.

 

She has extensive experience hosting diverse events, including academic conferences, corporate ceremonies, international symposiums and celebrations.

 

A graduate of Nagoya University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Ayumi brings a sharp understanding of diverse industries, enabling her to connect meaningfully with both local and international audiences.
