Thimphu, Bhutan, August 19, 2026: The Bhutan Olympic Committee conducted an orientation on the Annual Performance and Funding Compact, introducing a structured framework for collaboration between the BOC and its member affiliates.
The initiative is jointly developed based on agreed annual work plans, key priorities and performance indicators, clearly outlining the roles, responsibilities and commitments between the BOC and its partners.
The Compact is designed to strengthen the ways sports are managed, supported and developed in Bhutan by providing members with greater autonomy while establishing clear expectations for performance and accountability.
Additionally, the framework establishes a stronger link between funding and performance, ensuring that resources are increasingly aligned with measurable outcomes, priorities and the overall development of sport.
