Kathmandu, Nepal, August 18, 2026: The Nepal Olympic Committee held a special ceremony to congratulate the Chairman of the NOC Medical Commission, Prof. Dr. Nabees Man Singh Pradhan, on a recent appointment.
NOC President Jeevan Ram Shrestha was joined by Vice President Jyoti Rana, Secretary General Rajiv Shrestha, Deputy Secretary General Ramji Bahadur Shrestha and Secretary Bhim Sing Gurung in congratulating Prof. Dr. Nabees Man Singh Pradhan on being appointed Vice Chancellor of Patan Academy of Health and Sciences (PAHS) Nepal.
In the program, which was held on August 12, members of the NOC Medical Commission and the Chairman of the NOC Psychology Commission, Mr. Indra Gurung, were also present.
The Patan Academy of Health Sciences is dedicated to healthcare excellence. It is a public non-profit tertiary academic institution dedicated to improving Nepal’s rural health by training health workers for rural Nepal.
The goal of PAHS is that its graduates will not only provide severely needed medical care in rural Nepal but will also eventually become leaders in health care policy.
