Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, August 17, 2026: Saudi Arabia will send 144 athletes in 19 sports to the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games from September 19 to October 4.
The Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, who announced the delegation on Sunday, added that the team would leave for Fuji in Japan on August 29 for a preparatory camp prior to the continental showpiece.
The participation reflects the Kingdom’s growing investment in sports development and international competition as it seeks to expand its presence on the continental sporting stage.
This will be the 12th time for Saudi Arabia to compete at the Asian Games.
