Tashkent, Uzbekistan, August 17, 2026: The first stage of the Laser Run City Tour 2026 competition in running and laser shooting was held at Tashkent City Park to mark the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Minister of Sport Adham Ikramov, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Oybek Kasimov and Chairman of the Uzbekistan Modern Pentathlon Federation Bakhromjon Gaziyev took part in the opening ceremony.
More than 300 amateur athletes took part in the event, including 120 children and teenagers. At the end of the competition, all participants received commemorative gifts.
Running and laser shooting are disciplines of modern pentathlon.
