Hong Kong, China, August 13, 2026: The Hong Kong, China Olympic Academy (HKCOA), under the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC), is hosting the SF&OC Overseas Exchange Programme 2026 in Singapore.
A delegation of 30 tertiary students is taking part in a five-day exchange programme.
On the second day of the programme, Wednesday, August 12, HKCOA and the Singapore Olympic Academy (SOA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to deepen bilateral collaboration in sports and education and to promote the Olympic Movement.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Kenneth Fok, Vice-President of SF&OC and Chairperson of HKCOA, and Mr. Ng Ser Miang, Chairman of SOA.
Mr. Fok said: “HKCOA continues to leverage the unique advantages of Hong Kong under the ‘one country, two systems’ principle, fulfilling its role as a connector between the mainland and the world.
“By strengthening cooperation with National Olympic Committees and Olympic Academies, we aim to contribute to regional and international sports development.
“Singapore’s well-established sports ecosystem provides a valuable platform for nurturing sporting talent. The signing of this MoU reinforces our close strategic partnership while supporting the National 15th Five-Year Plan’s vision of building a leading sporting nation with youth development as a key priority.”
The SF&OC Overseas Exchange Programme 2026 is being held in Singapore from August 11-15.
