Thimphu, Bhutan, July 29, 2026: The Bhutan Olympic Committee has congratulated Dechen Tshomo on completing her Master’s degree in Olympic Studies, Olympic Education and the Organisation and Management of Olympic Events from the University of Peloponnese, International Olympic Academy, Greece.
As the Board Secretary and Head of Administration of the Bhutan Cricket Council Board, Dechen returns with valuable knowledge and international experience that will contribute towards the continued growth of sports governance, leadership and event management in the country.
Reflecting on her learning journey, Dechen said: “Beyond academic knowledge, this experience has broadened my perspective on sports governance, Olympic values, leadership and event management.
"I return with renewed motivation and a stronger commitment to contributing to the continued growth and development of sport in Bhutan.”
