Harbin, China, July 25, 2026: Asia’s new breed of short track tigers were given a well-deserved day off at the OCA-ISU Asian Short Track Speed Skating Youth Camp in Harbin on Friday, July 24.
The 35 athletes and 12 coaches from 14 National Olympic Committees stepped out of the rink and into the wild for an unforgettable cultural tour at the Siberian Tiger Park.
The young champs bonded, exploring the local wildlife, and sharing laughs away from the intensity of training.
The OCA makes sure that the young athletes enjoy the local culture and history of the host country and city. This not only gives them a break from training but also contributes to bonding, lasting friendships and unforgettable memories of the youth camp.
And they learned how to be a tiger on the ice rink as their short track careers develop.
