Bangkok, Thailand, July 19, 2026: In a landmark moment for volleyball in Asia, the Asian Volleyball Confederation and ParaVolley Asia Oceania have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding, strengthening their commitment to grow volleyball, beach volleyball and sitting volleyball across the continent.
The historic agreement was signed by AVC President Ramon Suzara and PVAO President Liu Cailiang and was witnessed by FIVB President Fabio Azevedo and World ParaVolley President Jurgen Schrapp.
The signing took place during the AVC Board of Administration meetings in Bangkok on July 16.
The AVC said the MoU underscored a shared global vision for a more inclusive and united future for the sport.
“Together, we continue building opportunities for every athlete, on every court,” the AVC posted.
