Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, May 26, 2020: His Majesty the King of Malaysia and Royal Patron of the Asian Hockey Federation, Sultan Abdullah Ahmad Shah, has congratulated Dato Seri Chaiyapak Siriwat on his appointment as Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia.
His Majesty Sultan Abdullah Ahmad Shah sends his best wishes to Dato Seri Chaiyapak Siriwat and wishes him all the very best for his future commitment and responsibilities, reports the Asian Hockey Federation.
“On this special occasion, AHF President Dato Fumio Ogura and Chief Executive Dato Tayyab Ikram also congratulate Dato Seri Chaiyapak Siriwat,” said the statement issued May 22.
“On behalf of the entire Asian hockey family humbly we thank you and acknowledge all your efforts and contribution particularly towards the growth and support of hockey in Asia.”
Dato Seri Chaiyapak Siriwat is President of the Thailand Hockey Association and Vice President of the AHF.
He has been appointed OCA Vice President in connection with the organisation of the OCA’s 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) in Bangkok and Chonburi province in May 2021.
The OCA and the National Olympic Committee of Thailand signed a Host City Contract in a virtual ceremony last month conducted online in Bangkok and Kuwait.
