Tashkent, Uzbekistan, July 14, 2026: Oybek Kasimov, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, has been awarded the ‘O'zbekiston Belgisi’ badge (Sign of Uzbekistan) for his invaluable contribution to the development of sport in the country.
The award, given by the Central Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, was bestowed on Oybek Kasimov in recognition of developing the Olympic movement, improving the sports system, widely involving young people in physical activity and a healthy lifestyle, as well as increasing the prestige of Uzbek sports internationally.
The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan sincerely congratulated its Secretary General on winning this prestigious award and wished him great success in future endeavours.
