Kathmandu, Nepal, July 14, 2026: The Nepal Olympic Committee has congratulated Doctor Nabees Man Singh Pradhan on being appointed Vice Chancellor of Patan Academy of Health Sciences, Nepal.
Dr. Pradhan is the Chairperson of the Medical Commission of the Nepal Olympic Committee.
“Congratulations to Nabees Man Singh Pradhan. Best wishes for your successful tenure,” the Nepal NOC posted.
An orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Pradhan was selected from a list of 113 applications for the Academy’s top post.
With more than 23 years of service at Patan Hospital, PAHS’s teaching hospital, Dr. Pradhan pioneered the introduction of total elbow replacement, knee arthroplasty and total hip arthroplasty.
Prior to his new appointment, Dr. Pradhan was Dean of the School of Medicine At PAHS.
