Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, July 8, 2026: The Olympic Council of Malaysia welcomed Honohon – official mascot of the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 – to Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, July 8.
Inspired by the Shachihoko, a mythical tiger-fish creature from Japanese folklore, Honohon symbolises the fiery passion, determination and unwavering spirit that burn within the hearts of athletes striving for sporting excellence.
Honohon is in Malaysia on a special mission to support the final leg of the Asian Games Fun Run Aichi-Nagoya 2026 which will be jointly organised by the OCA, Asian Games organising committee AINAGOC and the OCM on Friday, July 17. 2026. The fun run will take place at the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, Sunway City Kuala Lumpur from 7.0 am-9.0 am.
Adding to the excitement, Honohon travelled to Malaysia carrying thousands of exclusive finisher medals which will be presented to participants who successfully complete the fun run.
