Dhaka, Bangladesh, July 9, 2026: The Bangladesh Olympic Association held a two-day workshop titled "Athlete365 Career+" on July 7-8 with the aim of post-athlete career development.
A total of 31 athletes from 25 national sports federations attended the workshop, which was conducted by two IOC-nominated experts: Mrs. Sharon Springer (United States), who is head of the education programme of the Badminton World Federation, and Ms. Jovina Choo (Singapore), development manager of the Asia-Pacific Region of Special Olympics.
The first day of the workshop was dedicated to four sessions on self-discovery: strength and values, interest and skills, passion and impact, and purpose and planning.
On the second day, special training was provided for the athletes on effective strategies for preparing their CVs, resumes and cover letter, along with other documents for applying for various jobs.
The chief guest at the closing ceremony was Bangladesh Olympic Association Vice President Major-General (retd.) Dr. Md. Naeem Ashfaq Chowdhury, who expressed thanks to everyone involved in making the workshop a success.
All participants received certificates.
