OCA reaffirms commitment to Clean Sport ahead of Aichi-Nagoya 2026

Kuwait City, Kuwait, July 8, 2026: As part of its continued commitment to delivering a 100 per cent clean Asian Games, the Olympic Council of Asia successfully engaged all 45 Asian National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs) through a series of regional online meetings and direct communications in preparation for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.

Conducted with the support of the Regional Anti-Doping Organizations (RADOs), the engagement focused on key priorities for the pre-Games anti-doping programme, including the implementation of risk-based out-of-competition testing and the completion of the required ADEL education modules by athletes and coaches participating in the Games.

NADOs were also encouraged to work closely with their respective National Olympic Committees to ensure athletes receive timely guidance on important anti-doping topics, including the safe use of medications and supplements, as well as Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) applications where applicable.

Through this coordinated effort, the OCA has ensured that all 45 Asian NADOs have received the necessary guidance and support to strengthen anti-doping preparations ahead of the Games, which will take place from September 19 to October 4.

“The OCA wishes all Asian athletes every success at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games,” said a statement, together with the slogan “Stay Clean”.
