Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, July 6, 2026: The President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, HRH Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal Al Saud, says hosting the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games this December will be a proud moment for the Kingdom.
In a message to the Chefs de Mission ahead of the CDM Seminar in Riyadh on July 7-8, HRH Prince Abdulaziz writes: “On behalf of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it is my honour to welcome the Asian sporting family to Riyadh for the 2026 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.
“This is a proud moment for our nation. Hosting AIMAG 2026 reflects the vision and steadfast support of our leadership, and our deep commitment to sport as a force that unites people, inspires ambition and strengthens the bonds between nations.
“For Riyadh — a city where centuries of tradition meet bold ambition — there is no greater privilege than opening our doors to the athletes and delegations of Asia,” says Prince Abdulaziz, who is Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee — AIMAG Riyadh 2026.
The CDM Seminar will take place at the Hilton Riyadh Hotel on Tuesday and Wednesday and around 100 delegates will attend. The event represents a major milestone on the road to the 6th AIMAG, which will be held from December 13-21 with 18 sports, 25 disciplines and 122 events.
Prince Abdulaziz adds: “AIMAG 2026 brings together 45 National Olympic Committees in a single venue — Boulevard City — for the first time in the history of these Games. It is a gathering built on the values we share across our continent: respect, excellence and mutual understanding.
“Every athlete who competes here carries the pride of their nation, and we are committed to providing an environment worthy of that honour.
“Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, these Games reinforce the Kingdom’s dedication to building a vibrant society where sport serves as a platform for opportunity, cultural exchange and the empowerment of future generations.
“Riyadh offers world-class infrastructure, modern venues and a safe and welcoming environment — and above all, the warmth of Saudi hospitality.”
