Dubai, United Arab Emirates, July 1, 2026: The Emirates Olympic Committee, represented by the Department of Technical and Sports Affairs and the Sports Medicine Committee, held a two-day meeting with the National Anti-Doping Organization (NADO) to prepare for upcoming events.
The participants focused mainly on the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan from September 19 to October 4 and the 4th Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, Republic of Senegal, from October 31 to November 13.
Discussion focused on the steps to be taken by the athletes in cooperation with the relevant authorities to guarantee a smooth build-up.
Topics included vaccinations and health procedures related to travel, anti-doping education and awareness and the need to complete the ADEL (Anti-Doping Education and Learning) course for athletes heading for the Asian Games. The parties also reviewed the administrative and logistical arrangements of the delegations.
“The Emirates Olympic Committee makes sure to work together with the sports associations in cooperation with the relevant national entities to provide best practices and enable continuous coordination to reach the desired results.
“This will reflect the performance of the sporting delegations representing the country and seeks to always raise its flag in front of everyone,” the NOC said in a social media post.
