Hong Kong, China, June 29, 2026: The 69th Festival of Sport organised by the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China continues to bring a series of exciting activities to the community in June.
One of the enhanced events, the Sport for All Fun Day, was held at Kowloon Park Sports Centre on Sunday, June 28, drawing enthusiastic participation from families and members of the public.
The lively atmosphere was further elevated as this year’s festival ambassadors, Tsang Cham Yuen (basketball) and Lam Yee Lok (table tennis), joined in the fun to try out various sports. They encouraged the public to embrace an active lifestyle and enjoy quality family time through sport.
As one of this summer’s largest sport-for-all community events, the fun day featured more than 10 interactive booths and challenge zones, offering participants a one-stop opportunity to explore a wide range of emerging and distinctive sports.
The diverse programme included Sport for All interactive games, functional fitness challenges, rope skipping, kickboxing, wrestling, curling and line dancing experiences.
The fun day also featured a dedicated padel experience zone, spotlighting this new sport to be included in the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya from September 19 to October 4, 2026. The zone attracted strong interest from participants, who were eager to experience the unique charm of padel first-hand.
The 69th Festival of Sport will continue to present a wide range of exciting activities following the Sport for All Fun Day, including the VRC Wave and Aim Summer Festival to be held at the Victoria Recreation Club – Emerald Bay in Sai Kung on July 25.
Combining summer-themed interactive experiences with sporting elements, the event will offer a rich line-up of water sports, including canoe polo, stand-up paddle polo, outrigger canoeing and dragon boating.
