Mongolia NOC President thanks Goyol Cashmere for support

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, June 27, 2026: The President of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee, Battushig Batbold, has expressed his pride that Mongolia’s opening ceremony uniform at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games was shortlisted for a prestigious award.

 

The eye-catching costume, designed by Goyol Mongolian Cashmere with the support of Mongolia NOC, was shortlisted for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

 

“Team Mongolia’s ceremonial costume at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games has been selected on the shortlist for the best product of the most prestigious international festival of creativity,” Battushig posted.

 

“This is special because it is the first time Mongolia has been selected for the shortlist of the Cannes Lions Awards.

 

“Also, over 1,000 submissions from around the world competed, with only the top 10 per cent included in this prestigious shortlist.

 

“We would like to thank the team of Goyol Cashmere company for promoting Mongolian heritage and national characteristics on the world stage and supporting sport and the Olympics.”
