Kathmandu, Nepal, June 23, 2026: The Asian Hockey Federation reports that, on the occasion of International Olympic Day, an inter-club friendly hockey match was organized by Bagmati Province Hockey Association in collaboration with the Nepal Olympic Committee and managed by the Bhaktapur district hockey association.
The program was held with the objective of promoting the Olympic values of Friendship, Respect and Excellence. The successful execution of the event was made possible through the important contributions of the organizing body, supporting organizations and all participating teams.
“We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the Chief Guest, Mr. Chaturananda Rajvaidya, Vice President of the Nepal Olympic Comittee, esteemed guests, organizers, technical officials, coaches, players and everyone present for their valuable support in making the event a grand success,” the AHF said.
