Singapore, June 17, 2026: The Singapore National Olympic Council and Embed Financial Group Holdings (EFGH) have announced a five-year partnership to support Team Singapore athletes at major Games.
They have also introduced a new meritorious awards initiative to recognise coaches for their contributions to Singapore sport.
EFGH handed over a cheque for 300,000 Singapore Dollars as official Finternet partner of Singapore NOC.
Singapore NOC is proud to unveil the finalists for the 2026 Coach of the Year award:
*Eugene Chia Kin Weng (Swimming)
*Sherman Cheng Feng Yuan (Sailing)
*Luis Filipe Vitorino Cunha (Athletics)
*Gavin Joshua Lee Tse Peng (Football)
*Joel Lye Jun Hao (Kickboxing)
*Ng Boon Hock (Wushu)
*Rasic Lazar (Basketball)
*Zhang Zhen (Gymnastics)
“Congratulations to all finalists for their outstanding dedication, leadership and contribution to Singapore sport. The winner will be announced at the Singapore Sports Awards on 3 July 2026,” Singapore NOC said.
“We welcome EFGH for joining the Olympic Movement in Singapore and for their commitment to supporting both athletes and coaches as we strive for sporting excellence together.”
