Bali, Indonesia, June 14, 2026: More than 200 people took part in the Indonesia leg of the OCA Fun Run to promote the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4, 2026.
The latest fun run in the continent-wide series took place at Bali Collection, Nusa Dua, on Sunday, June 14, managed by the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC).
The event was graced by the presence of Raja Sapta “Okto” Oktohari, President of the Indonesian Olympic Committee, who welcomed the runners and also took part in the event. A group of cyclists also joined the festivities.
The fun run covered a 5km route and brought together athletes, families, students and sports enthusiasts on the road to the 20th Asian Games in Japan.
“Through this event, Indonesia reaffirms its active role within the Asian sports ecosystem and its commitment to supporting the success of the Asian Games 2026,” the Indonesian Olympic Committee said in a press release issued the day before the fun run.
“Indonesia—especially the Island of Bali—is proud to be entrusted as one of the host cities for this initiative. This serves as a key momentum to bring the spirit of the Asian Games closer to the public.”
The fun run not only served to rally support for the Indonesian athletes taking part in this year’s Asian Games but also encouraged a healthy lifestyle while fostering the Olympic spirit of unity and friendship.
The fun run was held under the theme “Imagine One Asia” – the slogan for the 20thAsian Games.
NOC Indonesia collaborated with the OCA, Asian Games organising committee AINAGOC, ITDC, The Nusa Dua and Bali Collection in order to stage the fun run.
The event was further supported by Gudang Kripto, The Stones Hotel Bali, Fin+, Bank Vima, Liberty Foundation, PT Nusantara Parkerizing, Essenza, Technogym, Segara Village, Pelita Air, Pocari Sweat, Ayodya Hotel Bali as well as Team Indonesia sponsors Mills, BAIC, AICE, Kings Travel, TikTok and Perumnas.
