Bali, Indonesia, June 13, 2026: The jewel in the crown of Indonesia’s tourism industry, beautiful Bali, is the setting for the next stage of the OCA’s Asian Games Fun Run ahead of Aichi-Nagoya 2026.
The fun run will take place on Sunday, June 14, and a press conference was held to promote the occasion on Saturday, June 13 by the Indonesian Olympic Committee, OCA and Asian Games organising committee AINAGOC.
“Through this event, Indonesia reaffirms its active role within the Asian sports ecosystem and its commitment to supporting the success of the Asian Games 2026,” the Indonesian Olympic Committee said in a press release.
“Indonesia—especially the Island of Bali—is proud to be entrusted as one of the host cities for this initiative. This serves as a key momentum to bring the spirit of the Asian Games closer to the public.”
The Indonesian leg of the fun run will be held at Bali Collection, Nusa Dua, managed by the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC).
In order to host a successful fun run, NOC Indonesia collaborates with the OCA, AINAGOC, ITDC, The Nusa Dua and Bali Collection.
The event is further supported by Gudang Kripto, The Stones Hotel Bali, Fin+, Bank Vima, Liberty Foundation, PT Nusantara Parkerizing, Essenza, Technogym, Segara Village, Pelita Air, Pocari Sweat, Ayodya Hotel Bali as well as Team Indonesia sponsors Mills, BAIC, AICE, Kings Travel, TikTok and Perumnas.
Indonesia NOC added: “We envision this event as a symbol of friendship, solidarity and sportsmanship among Asian nations—between Japan and Indonesia and between the OCA and NOC Indonesia.
“We invite the public, especially those in Bali, to experience the spirit of the Asian Games from now, and to continue supporting Team Indonesia as they compete for the nation at the Asian Games in Japan.
“Through this initiative, we also aim to promote an active and healthy lifestyle by engaging communities, youth and families as part of a broader effort to increase sports participation nationwide.”
The statement concluded: “The Asian Games Fun Run marks the beginning of our journey toward 2026. Let’s run together, imagine one Asia, and support Team Indonesia.”
The chief guests at the press conference were Ismail Ning, NOC Indonesia Vice President; Manami Okumura, Deputy Director of PR Section, AINAGOC; and Jeans Zhou Jian, Director of Media & Broadcast,OCA.
The 20th Asian Games will take place in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan from September 19 to October 4, 2026.
